Job Summary
Senior Tax Associates prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns of varying complexities, assist clients with tax planning, perform accounting, auditing, and tax assignments, and guide tax staff through projects. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, have two to three years of related experience, demonstrate competency in technical skills, and must either hold or be working toward a CPA license. Responsibilities include meeting client deadlines, overseeing associates, and maintaining communication within a team.
Required Qualifications
- Attained a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Two or three years related experience and/or training
- CPA license, licensed attorney, or working toward CPA licensure
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Financial Services experience highly preferred
- Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
