Job Summary
Senior Tax Associate position focusing on innovative tax planning and compliance services for clients. Responsibilities include reviewing tax returns, assisting with client engagements from planning to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, collaborating with Partners and staff on client management and business development, resolving issues with IRS/tax authorities, leading or assisting client meetings, and mentoring associates and interns. The role emphasizes professional development, adherence to deadlines, and contributing to tax-saving strategies, with opportunities to supervise and evaluate staff performance and participate in ongoing education. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting is required, with a Masters in Taxation or Taxation-related advanced degree preferred; strong technical and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a major in accounting
- Masters in Taxation or LLM in Taxation a plus
- Strong technical skills in tax preparation and review
- Experience in tax provisions a plus
- Ability to problem-solve and think creatively and logically
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication skills
