Job Summary
Calculate GILTI, FDII, and Subpart F income while preparing US international tax forms like Forms 5471 and 8858. Analyze period-to-period changes in taxable items and assist with amended returns resulting from foreign tax changes. Conduct research on tax legislation impacts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for tax return calculations. Participate in the tax technology initiative to transform processes and workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of combined Big 4 and/or industry experience
- Focus on income and international tax compliance
- Relevant international tax experience
- Technical understanding of GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and FTC
- Experience with the Thomson Reuters OneSource software suite (Income Tax, DataFlow, Workpapers, etc.), or comparable software
- Ability to use and navigate the SAP system
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations
- Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
- Effective ability to apply best practices to organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as with collaborators
- Multifaceted, meticulous, and analytical problem solver with goal towards efficiency and operational improvement
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years' experience
- Masters' degree plus 3 years' experience
- PhD plus 0 years' experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Business Taxation
- CPA
