Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary
Prepare monthly federal tax provisions based on SAP and GAAP, including current income tax expense, federal tax payable, and deferred taxes. Maintain ongoing knowledge of SAP and GAAP practices while assisting with multi-state partnership tax returns, capital account analysis, and depreciation calculations. Conduct tax research on recent developments and prominent legislation, then gather and execute document requisitions during federal, state, and local regulatory audits. Mentor tax paraprofessionals and accountants on basic support tasks and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations. Perform minor bookkeeping duties such as posting journal entries and migrating data from general ledger to tax software. This role works under minimal supervision in a hybrid environment with three or more office days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
