Job Summary
Senior Tax Accountant to prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and corporations; provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance matters; conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support decision-making; assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies; collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting; stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations; mentor and train junior staff members in tax-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA or CPA is preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
