Job Summary
Prepare and review complex federal, state, local, and gift tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and private foundations. Manage the tax compliance process by gathering financial information, coordinating deliverables, and addressing client inquiries. Conduct tax research on complex issues, recommend actions to management, and coordinate engagement workflows to ensure timely filing. Assist with estimated tax payments, extensions, and audits while collaborating with Wealth Advisors and Operations teams. Participate in client meetings to communicate planning recommendations and stay current on regulatory changes. Work three days per week in the Radnor, PA office with a competitive salary of $145,000–$185,000 plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 8-12 years of experience in public accounting, private client tax, fiduciary tax, and/or wealth management tax services
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, with a strong emphasis on preparing individual, partnership, trusts, estates and private foundation tax returns
- Experience with CCH Axcess tax preparation software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work in our Radnor, PA office three days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Taxation preferred
- EA or CPA designation preferred
