Job Summary
Senior Tax Accountant leads complex tax and accounting engagements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of work products. Serves as a trusted technical resource, mentors staff, and strengthens internal processes. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and advanced tax returns; leading tax research and planning initiatives; advising clients on complex tax matters; and ensuring adherence to firm standards. Also focused on client leadership, identifying risks/opportunities, and driving continuous improvement across the firm. Requires CPA license, 5+ years of experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience
- Strong leadership abilities with mentoring and developing team members
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software
