Job Summary
Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical hiring across AI, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Data, Infrastructure, IT, and Product, from kickoff through offer acceptance. Partner with senior technology leaders as a trusted advisor to develop hiring strategies, deliver market insights, and drive end-to-end recruitment for strategic teams. Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies using AI-powered tools and market intelligence to identify passive talent, while collaborating with hiring managers to forecast needs and optimize processes. Champion operational excellence by leveraging automation to streamline workflows and continuously improve hiring outcomes across global regions. Play a critical role in scaling the Toronto AI & Data Hub and establishing best practices for technical hiring.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a high-growth corporate or startup environment with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing
- Demonstrated success managing end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of technical functions, including AI/ML Engineering, Software Engineering, QA, IT, and Product
- Proven track record of identifying and converting passive technical talent using sourcing strategies, AI-assisted recruiting tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, GitHub, Boolean/X-Ray search, and other talent intelligence platforms
- Ability to influence hiring managers, build trusted partnerships, and deliver exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with global teams and building strong relationships across diverse, international stakeholders
- Passion for leveraging AI and emerging technologies to continuously improve recruiting strategies, operational efficiency, and hiring outcomes
- This is a hybrid position based out of our New York City office.
