Senior T&D Asset Management Specialist

Job Summary
Lead asset management consulting projects across transmission and distribution while developing inspection programs, maintenance strategies, and asset management plans to achieve regulatory and code compliance. Conduct condition, risk, and criticality assessments, apply predictive modeling and lifecycle cost analysis, and perform failure analysis and forensic engineering investigations. Guide utilities on wood and steel pole asset management, including inspection and service life extension programs. Support business development, proposals, and client engagements while tracking performance, KPIs, and optimizing resources for project execution. This permanent, full-time exempt role requires a minimum of 10 years in electric utility T&D asset management and involves field work in remote or urban environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Material Sciences-related field or Engineering
- Minimum 10-year experience in electric utility T&D asset management
- Demonstrated expertise in electric utility system reliability, grid vulnerability assessment, or risk reduction strategies
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting resiliency and reliability (e.g., State Regulations, FERC/NERC reliability requirements, state wildfire mitigation rules)
- Competent with Office 365 applications
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Good analytical abilities and aptitude for problem solving
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally

- This role operates in a professional office environment as well as in the field
- The employee must be able to sit for long periods of time
- have sufficient physical ability and mobility to travel and work alone in outdoor field environments including those in remote locations as well as urban/city environments
- Field work may include walking/hiking three or more miles a day on various surfaces including flat, dry, wet, slippery, uneven, rough, steep terrain, hills, and slopes
- standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, grasping and making repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties
- This role can include exposure to noise, dust, grease, and all types of weather and temperature conditions

Desired Qualifications
