Job Summary
Senior Systems Support Engineer focused on security to ensure security, stability and availability of complex application systems. Responsibilities include incident management, using monitoring and logging to diagnose business-impacting issues, applying standards for operational efficiency, leveraging Continuous Delivery practices, mentoring peers, and applying latest technology thinking from our Radar to solve client problems. Technical skills include Java, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Python or Powershell, security management or certifications, knowledge of OWASP/Snyk/ISO 21434/Threat Modelling, architectures (monolithic, N-tier, microservices, serverless), debugging/triaging, databases (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL), Docker, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines), DataDog/Prometheus/Grafana for monitoring, Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban). Professional skills include communication, external community presence, resilience in ambiguous situations, cloud best practices, security practices, and mentoring junior consultants.
