Job Summary
Senior Systems Specialist for Epic Hospital Billing: responsible for configuring, building, and optimizing Epic HB applications including charge capture, billing workflows, and claims processing. Engage in Epic-related projects (implementations, upgrades, optimizations, Community Connect), translate business requirements into system configurations, develop and execute tests (unit/integrated/UAT), troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in billing accuracy and reimbursement. Collaborate with IT, revenue cycle, digital, and project leadership to ensure successful delivery. Requires Epic HB certification and 3-6+ years of Epic experience; remote work is allowed in the US; salary $109k-$145k with potential discretionary bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Epic Hospital Billing (HB) certification required
- Strong Epic HB knowledge
- 3-6+ years of Epic experience
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization
- Strong understanding of hospital billing workflows (charge capture, claims, reimbursement, denial management)
- Ability to translate business requirements into system build
- Testing, validation, and issue resolution skills
- Collaborative with IT, revenue cycle, digital, and project leadership
