Job Summary
Program advanced audiovisual control systems with secure automations using AMX, Crestron, and Extron platforms. Design and implement AV user interfaces, enterprise monitoring, and control systems while configuring, deploying, and tuning audio DSPs. Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain AV/IT hardware and signal transport systems, conducting site surveys to ensure designs meet space and infrastructure needs. Provide end-user training, documentation, and quick-start guides, and mentor junior programmers through lab testing of innovative solutions. Requires 10+ years of audiovisual system programming experience and Avixa CTS certification. Full-time salaried role with up to 80% travel to Washington DC, Hawaii, or Europe.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of audiovisual system programming experience
- Strong skills in AMX Netlinx and/or Java, DSP configuration, and AVoIP principles
- Knowledge of AV standards: Crestron Fusion, Extron RMS, AVIXA, AQAV AV9000
- Familiarity with secure system programming for government multi-domain environments
- Ability to read engineering drawings and translate into AV solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills
- BS/BA in related field or equivalent experience
- Avixa CTS certification
- U.S. Citizen
- able to pass a federal background investigation
- Ability to work in both office and construction site environments
- Up to 80% travel (domestic & international)

- Extron (DMC-E-4K, DM-NVX, CNS-D)
- Biamp Tesira & QSC Q-SYS (Levels 1 & 2) certifications

- Network+ and Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
- Additional AV certifications (Crestron, SynAudCon)
