Job Summary
Senior Systems Operations Engineer at Wells Fargo responsible for leading/managing installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area; improve system efficiencies and reduce human intervention; review and analyze operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure availability; collaborate with vendors and technical personnel to resolve issues and achieve high levels of availability; lead a team to meet technical deliverables; drive incident triage, root cause analysis, change evaluation-execution-validation, deployment management, BCP, risk & vulnerability management, patching, monitoring; provide on-call production support for mission-critical applications; develop automated solutions to daily production support activities; apply SDLC/Agile practices; maintain and update support documentation; work with multiple support teams and stakeholders; required experience with Java/J2EE stack, Weblogic/Tomcat, Oracle; hands-on with Redhat Linux, Unix troubleshooting, middleware issues, application servers; OpenShift/containerized deployments; possess an SRE mindset and experience building automated solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience or equivalent
