Job Summary
Senior Systems Manager for Data responsible for building and governing a scalable data platform and data lake, owning platform reliability, governance, and cost management. You will partner with business units to translate commercial goals into data capabilities, drive data-driven transformation, educate stakeholders on data concepts and tools (including AI literacy with Microsoft Copilot and Claude), lead a high-performing data team, and establish standards for dashboards, reports, and KPI definitions. The role emphasizes data quality, security, incident management, disaster recovery, and cross-functional collaboration to enable self-service analytics and a data-driven culture across Silverstone and its stakeholder groups.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading data teams
- Strong knowledge of MS Fabric, Power BI, data modelling, SQL, Python, ETL tools
- Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Data governance, data quality, stewardship, metadata management
- Stakeholder engagement and change management skills
- Ability to design and deliver training programs in data concepts and AI literacy
- Experience defining KPI definitions and reports
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with GDPR compliance and data privacy controls
