Job Summary
Lead bring-up and integration of new sub-systems (torso, perception, energy, compute) into full humanoid robotic systems; define and execute nominal path functional test strategies for mobility, manipulation, perception, charging, and other functions; drive cross-functional debugging sessions across mechanical, electrical, and software teams; mentor engineers in systematic troubleshooting and integration practices; develop integration plans and tools to improve team productivity and system stability; collaborate with hardware, software, and test engineers to ensure alignment with design intent and system performance; requires 6-8+ years in systems integration with a bachelor’s or master’s in a related field; hybrid work arrangement out of Fremont, CA, with relocation assistance for eligible roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
- 6-8+ years of experience in Systems Integration or related R&D functions
- Experience with integration of electro-mechanical systems spanning mechanical, electrical, and software components
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional deep-dives and drive technical decisions during triage of multi-system anomalies
- Proven track record designing and running engineering tests and characterizations for high-performance platforms
- Preferred: robotics, autonomous vehicles, aerospace, or safety-critical domains experience
