Senior Systems Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Develop Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities by bridging operational requirements with technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and military needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases, technical requirements, and integration strategies for Land Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Target Acquisition systems. Participate in national and international standards Working Groups, program meetings, and domain-specific conferences to support capability evolution. Design, develop, and maintain verification and validation procedures while reviewing software solutions against performance, reliability, and security standards. Document architectural decisions, integration patterns, and technical specifications to align intermediate designs with enterprise goals. Assist in selecting and evaluating software tools, frameworks, and platforms suitable for component integration. Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing IT systems and frameworks while conducting strategic, operational, and tactical planning. Provide expert advice to senior management on IT frameworks and strategies. Maintain a Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Software, Computer, Systems, Electrical, or a related technical discipline)
  • valid Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in a Canadian province or territory
  • minimum of 5 years of work experience as a System Engineer on Military C4ISR systems
  • 8 years of experience including analysis, design, and/or implementation of solutions in one or more of the following areas: Command, control, communications, and information systems within distributed or client/server environments
  • 8 years of experience including analysis, design, and/or implementation of solutions in one or more of the following areas: System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication and information systems and/or ISTAR systems
  • 4 years of experience developing technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in Information Technology, Information Management, or engineering domains
  • Communicating IT frameworks and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations to support senior management decision-making
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT systems, frameworks, and strategies
  • Conducting strategic, operational, and tactical planning aligned with organizational objectives
  • Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance
  • Controlled Goods clearance
  • Insurance

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with aviation, uncrewed aerial systems, and robotics domains to support integration planning aligned with operational requirements
