Job Summary
Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer responsible for performing integration, verification, and testing of Effector systems to ensure performance meets specifications. Roles include hardware/software integration, design verification tests, environmental and qualification testing, test plan development, and data analysis. You will build and certify test assets, plan and execute tests from circuit card assemblies to final product, troubleshoot issues, generate technical documentation (TRR/CTS/TDR packages), and collaborate with customers and suppliers. The position requires leading a small team, occasional travel to test sites, and onsite work in Tucson, AZ. Typical responsibilities also include coordinating platform integration with customer subsystems, conducting flight tests, and presenting technical data in design reviews and meetings. This role may require up to 25% travel and aligns with RTX’s requirements for security clearance and on-site work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in systems integration and test in lab or field environments
- Experience planning or executing Platform Integration or Flight Test Missions
- Experience collecting and evaluating data to diagnose and solve technical issues
- Experience leading teams in integration and test activities (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or immigration status permitting security clearance
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
