Job Summary
Lead development of Design Inputs and Digital Interface Requirements by working with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into system requirements. Decompose system requirements into derived requirements and resolve competing constraints among engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory functions. Implement configuration management through the complete product life cycle and support risk analysis activities from hazard capture to mitigation. Define test strategies for verification and validation plans using requirement tracing methods and interface with manufacturing and supply chain staff during design transfer. Ensure compliance to product development processes and Quality System standards while resolving interface issues and documenting theory of operations for complex medical product designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience
- Masters degree
- 2+ years of experience
- Solid understanding of systems engineering principals and related disciplines
- Electro/Mechanical
- Digital Interface
- Fluid Mechanics
- Materials Science
- Investigative and problem-solving skills
- DFSS/DMAIC/CAPA
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Required minimum number of days a week onsite
