Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Lead design and engineering efforts for DevOps Platforms, providing thoughtful leadership on implementation, management, and tooling across development and infrastructure teams. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Business units to deliver large-scale operational technologies using agile methodologies, establish road maps, and grow adoption of standards. Manage comprehensive Linux environments, IaaC, and CaaS solutions on private and public clouds, including Azure, while overseeing monitoring and logging via New Relic, Dynatrace, and Datadog. Requires 5+ years of DevOps experience, flexible work schedule, and active Canadian work visa or citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a DevOps/Systems Engineer/System Administrator
- Comprehensive Linux skills including proven experience deploying and managing DevOps platforms (Gitlab, Nexus, Gitlab-CI, Kurbernetes, Sonarcube)
- Hands-on experience with IaaC and Configuration Management (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong experience implementing and managing cloud infrastructure and application monitoring/logging solutions (New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk)
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing CaaS (Containers as a Service) Kubernetes/Docker Solutions on private and public cloud platforms
- Experience with cloud based DevOps environments
- Currently live in Canada, or currently have an active Canadian work visa or citizenship
