Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for overall technical leadership of CT imaging software, defining system imaging targets and regulatory benchmarks, designing system-level software architecture for CT scanners (real-time control, data acquisition, image reconstruction, post-processing, DICOM hospital integration), establishing failure handling and recovery strategies, translating requirements into detailed software specifications and performance budgets, leading trade-off analyses (on-scanner vs offline, CPU vs GPU vs FPGA, real-time OS vs general-purpose OS), developing physics-based models of the imaging chain, establishing objective/subjective image quality metrics (MTF, NPS, CNR, artifacts), conducting phantom and cadaver/clinical validation studies, collaborating with radiologists and clinical partners, and leading technical reviews to drive innovations in CT software and imaging quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education: PhD or Master’s in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, SW engineering, computer science and technology or related field.
- Minimum 6–10 years of industry experience in CT SW design or imaging system development.
