Senior Systems Engineer / Orbit Analyst

Job Summary
Configure orbital analysis tools for orbit determination, ephemeris generation, and collision avoidance while developing and validating orbit maneuver plans for maintenance and conjunction mitigation. Create simulations to assess orbital model accuracy and develop scripts to automate analysis functions. Contribute across the system development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, testing, and deployment, while collaborating with government stakeholders and prime contractors to validate interface requirements. Support customer engagement through demonstrations and analytical products. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science, 4–8 years of experience, and an Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 4–8 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with requirements development and test development
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Automated testing experience
- Demonstrated expertise in orbit determination and astrodynamics operations
- Familiarity with standard astrodynamics tools such as ODTK and STK/Astrogator
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in small teams
