Job Summary
Develop requirements, algorithms, and system trades while creating detailed SysML models to link specifications and generate design documentation. Interface with cross-functional electrical and software teams, customer stakeholders, and program collaborators to guide subsystem development and ensure lifecycle compliance. Conduct technical peer reviews, provide constructive feedback, and communicate complex issues clearly to both technical peers and non-technical members. This role supports the full product lifecycle for LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Secret - Current Security Clearance Status
- Active and existing security clearance on day 1
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience
- Experience with systems requirements
- Experience with systems software
- Experience with systems hardware
- Experience with systems integration
- Experience with systems test
- Experience with DOORs
- Experience with MBSE
- Experience with Cameo / MagicDraw
- ~100% onsite at a customer facility in Cambridge, MA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in software, hardware, electrical and/or mechanical design
- Experience in requirements development, design, verification, and validation
- Experience syncing and tracing requirements between DOORs and SysML modeling tools such as Cameo / MagicDraw
- Experience managing trade studies and design decisions
- Experience effectively presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders
- Experience in all phases of development: concept, requirements, design, implementation, and test
- Experience supporting design reviews during all phases of development
- 10 or more years of experience on DoD and/or space programs
