Job Summary
Analyze user requirements, concept of operations, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications. Lead design and development activities, providing technical guidance for integrating requirements, design, and technology. Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents. Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board meetings, design reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination. Assess risks to the program, determine probability of occurrence, and quantify consequences of failure by an approved risk management plan. Implement comprehensive Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions and support DoD Certification/Accreditation processes. Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components. Salary $195-225K. On-Site Work Fort George G Meade, Maryland. Level 3. Top Secret Clearance/SCI with Full Scope Poly required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Masters in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
- Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience
- Top Secret Clearance/SCI with Full Scope Poly
