Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer (Modeling & Simulation) to join Raytheon’s Integrated Systems team in Tewksbury, MA. You will contribute to the development of complex systems supporting the LADS mission by modeling and validating architectures, developing DSP-enabled models, and analyzing performance. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, evaluating requirements and designs, performing root-cause analysis, and incorporating radar and sensor processing concepts (detection, discrimination, tracking, signal processing) into simulations. Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Fortran; experience with DSP and time-domain modeling; ability to communicate compute plans and results; and a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience are required. Onsite role with relocation assistance available; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance (Secret) are required; security clearance process may include interim clearance. Salary range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The role is based in the U.S. and involves collaboration across engineering teams to advance architectural decisions and validate proposed solutions.”,
Required Qualifications
- degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- experience with system modeling, algorithm development, test vectors, or analysis tools
- experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Fortran
