Job Summary
Define client requirements for RF solutions, allocate system requirements, and derive requirements to ensure system architecture is fully defined and compliant to mission needs. Interface with RF systems engineers, antenna designers, transceiver designers, signal processing architects, and mechanical packaging engineers to solve critical needs through analysis, modeling, design, and test using MATLAB, Systems Toolkit, and GRASP. Develop system element architecture, design interfaces, and provide technical direction to executive program and engineering leaders regarding implementation approaches and operational concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Proven thought leadership for defining innovative, creative and cost effective design solutions
- Demonstrated experience in RF systems requirements analysis, system architecture design and signals decomposition
- Demonstrated leadership in defining RF systems design, collaborating with diverse, cross functional, and geographically dispersed hardware and software teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related major
- 10+ years experience specifically leading, designing, and developing RF solutions
- Experience with MATLAB or equivalent modeling tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using MBSE tools such as CameoEA, DOORS, Rhapsody
- Experience mentoring junior systems engineers
- Experience briefing program and customer executives
