Job Summary
Support the MDA Chief Engineer in transforming agency engineering approaches by capturing and developing new system models to serve as the backbone for future efforts. Leverage expertise in Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to coordinate with internal and external teams on model collaboration. Assist in moving the agency away from document-driven engineering by utilizing tools such as SysML, Cameo, and MATLAB. Requires a Master's degree in a STEM field, 12+ years of experience, and an Active Secret clearance. Full-time position with a 9/80 work schedule and paid holiday shutdown.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
- 12+ years of experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Strong Model-based engineering experience
- Ability to excel in a team setting
- Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)
- MDA Experience
- Expertise in command and control (C2), data transport, Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), or interoperability
