Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer to support Missile Defense Agency programs in defense of Guam; responsibilities include integrated analysis of flight and ground tests, coordinating design reviews and readiness activities, leading or supporting technical interchange meetings, and producing executive-level briefings and technical papers. Requires senior-level systems engineering experience in missile-defense programs, active Secret clearance, Master's degree in STEM, and proficiency with tools like DOORS, Windchill, and Qlik; must collaborate across MDA and partner organizations, ensure secure design practices, and support cybersecurity-informed engineering across multiple domains.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant systems engineering or technical experience for missile defense related programs
- Master's Degree in STEM
- Active Secret clearance
- Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures
- Demonstrate understanding of system architecture and system
- Experience with MDA system elements (e.g., Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, C2BMC)
- Familiarity with secure development practices, configuration management, and cybersecurity-informed engineering
- Knowledge of the ETM-2 system and experience managing Congressional or routine taskers
- Ability to operate independently and communicate effectively across diverse technical teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
- Skilled in developing and delivering technical briefings to senior decision-makers

- Experience with MDA system elements (e.g., Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, C2BMC)
- Familiarity with secure development practices, configuration management, and cybersecurity-informed engineering
- Experience developing and delivering technical briefings to senior decision-makers
- Proficiency with DOORS, Windchill, and Qlik
- Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures
- Ability to operate independently and communicate effectively across diverse technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (preferred in addition to Master's)
- Security clearance required for role (Secret)
- Experience coordinating meetings and executive communications (TIMs, briefings)
- Experience with system security and cybersecurity inputs in engineering processes
- Knowledge of system architecture and program management in defense domains
- Experience with government and defense stakeholders (e.g., DoG, MDA)
