Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. Operate and support applications across the full SDLC, including deployment, monitoring, and incident response, while implementing observability tools to ensure system reliability. Troubleshoot complex production issues, drive root cause analysis, and collaborate with Development and Product teams to improve system performance and developer productivity. Optimize cloud usage for cost efficiency, contribute to automation initiatives, and participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles in a product-based environment
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and application layers
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and system design principles
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently in a distributed team
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Familiarity with data systems like PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices architectures
- Exposure to cost optimization strategies in cloud environments
- Understanding of release management and deployment strategies
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-product environments
