Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer to optimize and improve complex healthcare IT infrastructure. Leads troubleshooting during outages, serves as subject-matter expert for AWS cloud services and on-prem/cloud integrations, contributes to system architecture design, and collaborates on documentation and SOPs. Must have extensive experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch), Citrix virtualization (CVAD, PVS, NetScaler/ADC, StoreFront/Access Gateway), VMware, Windows Server/Active Directory, networking, security, and scripting (PowerShell, Python). Role involves on-call rotation, collaboration across teams, and on-site work in New York City.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Applied Science, or Math combined with relevant work experience
- AWS certification (preferred); MCP and additional certificates in data security, networking, or specific technologies will be considered
- 7-10 years of enterprise-level experience maintaining and supporting physical, virtual, on-prem, and cloud-based systems, applications, and tools
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) and migrating on-prem workloads to AWS
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) administration, Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), Citrix NetScaler/ADC, Citrix StoreFront and Access Gateway/Citrix Gateway
- Extensive knowledge of VMware, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange; networking concepts; and security practices
- Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python)
- Experience in healthcare operations domain and HIPAA considerations (preferred)
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation and occasional off-hours work
