Job Summary
Lead technical advisory for Nutanix's most strategic global accounts by building trusted relationships with customer executives and architects to influence strategic decisions and long-term technology direction. Engage at the C-suite level to articulate the value proposition, guide customers on emerging trends like AI and Kubernetes, and deliver innovative solutions that shape future technology adoption. Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to align requirements with strategy, lead technical solution development for complex opportunities, and act as an escalation point for critical customer challenges. Represent the company at industry events and conferences through thought leadership and technical evangelism while maintaining flexibility to travel globally approximately 50% of the time. This role supports transformational initiatives for Nutanix's largest customers, requiring deep expertise in virtualization, storage, and modern infrastructure architectures.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, solution architecture, or a related customer-facing technology role
- Demonstrated success supporting large enterprise or global accounts and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Deep expertise in virtualization, storage, AI, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and modern infrastructure architectures
- Proven ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and Line-of-Business leaders
- Strong ability to work independently while partnering effectively with sales and cross-functional teams to drive customer success
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Recognized technical credibility with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders through expertise rather than formal authority
- Experience serving as a technical thought leader, advisor, or evangelist within the industry
- Must be able to travel globally as required (approximately 50%)
