Job Summary
Lead mission critical NSA-certified cybersecurity device development within the Taunton Cyber Engineering team, focusing on custom in-house software and high-speed data systems. Execute requirements analysis, functional and performance analysis, and system design to derive specifications, code, test plans, and execute systems-level testing. Manage long development lifecycles, conduct trade studies, and integrate testing in lab environments using Systems and Test tools. Define scope, schedule, and expectations with technical direction and leadership, identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement. Requires a Secret clearance, Bachelor's degree, and 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering with Agile, MBSE, and DOORs proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
- 8+ years of job-related experience
- Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship

- Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Full Stack experience
- Extensive experience with DOORs
- Long development lifecycle and product lifespans, requiring maintenance and regular technology refresh

- Networking experience including Layer 2 and Layer 3
- Experience working in a fast-paced product development environment

- Shows initiative on assignments and executes projects with little guidance and can provide technical direction and leadership
- Ability to write CONOPS, Specifications or Requirements and derive into software design, code, test plans, and then execute Systems level testing/debugging
- Proficiency with Systems and Test tools supporting testing in a lab environment
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
