Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for managing and advancing our virtual, cloud, and data center infrastructure to support 24/7/365 business operations. Leads cloud adoption and modernization initiatives, with a strong focus on Entra/M365, conditional access, and compliance. Demonstrates expertise across VMware, Windows Server, Office 365/Azure/AWS, and enterprise infrastructure operations; ensures redundancy, performance, and security, while maintaining documentation, runbooks, and cross-team collaboration. Praised for proactive monitoring, capacity planning, change management, and partnering with security to enforce controls in HIPAA-regulated environments.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in a 24x7 environment
- Extensive experience administering VMware environments, blade systems, and SAN technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and patch management
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, and AWS environments
- Experience managing virtual desktop infrastructure and enterprise monitoring platforms
- Knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure management, and disaster recovery practices
- Experience with configuration management and change control processes
- Strong troubleshooting skills across server, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies
- Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
