Job Summary
Lead Okta administration and secure SaaS portfolio management by designing SSO, MFA, and Lifecycle Management strategies while developing high-scale automated workflows via Okta Workflows and REST APIs. Implement Zero Trust architecture and Role-Based Access Control policies, evaluate new SaaS tools for security compliance, and partner with InfoSec and HRIS to align identity platforms with organizational growth. Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex platform incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and author technical standards and runbooks. Contribute to enterprise systems roadmaps and participate in on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT or systems engineering
- at least 2 years of deep, hands-on experience specifically in Okta administration
- Strong command of SSO protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)

- Proven experience integrating and securing major SaaS platforms in a high-growth, regulated environment
- Proficiency with scripting and automation tools, including Python, PowerShell, Postman, and Okta Workflows
- Expert ability to work with REST APIs for complex system integration and data orchestration
- Extensive experience working in an Agile, sprint-based environment
- utilizing Jira for sprint planning and progress tracking
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Must be able to travel for onsite interviews or cultural immersion sessions in New York City
Desired Qualifications
- Okta Certified Professional or Administrator
- Okta Certified Consultant
- Familiarity with identity governance tools or privileged access management
- Experience using tools like Terraform to manage cloud identity or SaaS configurations
- Familiarity with professional ITSM frameworks and service delivery processes
- A natural inclination toward mentoring others and contributing to architectural discussions
