Job Summary
Develop and implement new mode algorithms for cutting-edge processing solutions and platforms, leveraging software development skills to drive EO/IR sensor design. Conduct performance analysis, algorithm development, and trade study generation using statistical modeling and data analysis for complex systems. Interface with team leads and engineers while delivering task progress updates and work products to the team lead. Participate in customer and program presentations to support mission objectives. This full-time, on-site role in Plano, Texas requires a Top Secret clearance and offers a salary range of $86,800 to $165,200.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
- Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of eight (5) or more years of documented work and/or academic experience in optical design, algorithm development, imaging EO/IR systems, physics, image signal processing, and/or discrimination algorithms
- Experience in programming in C or C++
- Using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
- Relocation Eligible – relocation assistance available for this position
