Job Summary
Develop system requirements, architecture documentation, and design specifications while supporting system integration, testing, and deployment activities. Conduct technical analysis and engineering reviews to ensure system interoperability, and manage continuous improvement efforts across the lifecycle. Collaborate with architecture and development teams to deliver complex systems supporting CDAO mission capabilities. Work independently within a fast-paced contracting environment, managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints. Maintain an active Secret security clearance and work on-site five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience
- Experience supporting federal or DoD systems engineering programs
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience working in a home office setting
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone
- Good phone skills
- Professional demeanor
- Previous customer service experience
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD, CDAO, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command programs involving AI, data analytics, digital modernization, or mission systems integration
- Demonstrated experience with systems integration, requirements management, verification and validation, and lifecycle engineering for complex enterprise environments
- Experience working within Agile, DevSecOps, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or cloud-based architectures supporting federal programs
- Professional certifications such as INCOSE ASEP/CSEP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Security+, or equivalent
- Ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
- Good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Experience working in a home office setting
- Previous customer service experience
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
