Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for converting product requirements into total system solutions, leading trade studies, and implementing common work practices. Provides expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fan systems, and thermal management system analysis in the development of high-efficiency HVAC&R and electronic control systems. Develops and executes testing/qualification for systems, sub-systems, and components; reviews test results against specifications and adjusts equipment to meet objectives; performs reliability analysis; develops engineering documents and releases; provides daily direction to Designers & Test Technicians; prepares presentations for Qualification Review Boards; collaborates with Marketing, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering; documents process improvements as part of standard engineering work; identifies reliable and cost-effective purchased components for new product development projects. Preferred familiarity with model-based design, CSA/ANSI/UL standards, heat pumps, SAP/Creo, Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Visual Basic, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Ambitious self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience working with refrigeration design, heat transfer, fan systems, structural analysis & electronic control systems.
- 3+ years of experience working with specification, design, development, and manufacture of products in HVAC refrigeration and compression.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.
