Job Summary
Diagnose system performance problems using standard tools and indicators like queue lengths and CPU utilization. Install program products and system components while demonstrating thorough understanding of storage systems, Windows infrastructure, and virtual server environments. Develop scripts to automate commonly used processes and manage service requests, ensuring proper creation, execution, and closure of tasks. Work closely with development groups, support teams, and vendors to coordinate special operations and escalate issues as needed. Assist in daily support through early detection of changes in system responses and refine monitoring and reporting procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience of Windows infrastructure
- Experience in VMware Management
- Window OS installation and troubleshooting
- Experience in virtual server environments
- Experience in scripts automation
- Understanding of Cloud implementation
- Experience with SFTP
- Experience in Defender A/V
- Experience in Credential Guard
- Experience in MECM Patching Process
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
