Job Summary
Lead systems engineering across delivery projects, owning the full lifecycle from requirements definition through verification and acceptance. Act as lead business analyst on key initiatives, gathering needs, translating them into detailed specifications, and facilitating workshops with clients and vendors. Produce high-quality documentation including requirements specifications, interface control documents, use cases, and traceability matrices. Collaborate with solution architects and product teams to ensure requirements are feasible and validated through rigorous testing. Oversee system verification activities, support defect triage, and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Ensure full traceability between design, development, and testing outcomes. Occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- 7+ years' experience in systems engineering, business analysis, or technical requirements leadership roles
- Strong background in requirements definition, systems design, and verification/validation processes
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise systems, ideally involving high-volume financial transactions
- Demonstrated ability to run requirements workshops and produce clear, structured documentation
- Familiarity with SDLC frameworks, including Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar requirements management platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Occasional travel may be required based on business needs

- Exposure to tolling or transportation back-office systems is advantageous
