Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain a cloud-based web dashboard and RESTful APIs for healthcare EDI data using Angular frontend and Java/NodeJS backend; collaborate with AWS data engineers, ensure data accuracy and performant delivery, participate in code reviews, and contribute to Agile workflows using Git/GitHub; required 8+ years of software development, Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering, U.S. citizenship, and ability to work on a 100% U.S.-based remote team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of software development experience (Java and/or NodeJS)
- Strong back-end experience with Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS
- Hands-on Angular experience and RESTful API design
- Experience with AWS (cloud) and Git/GitHub
- Experience building RESTful APIs for healthcare or enterprise data
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience with healthcare EDI (X.12) and HIPAA compliance is a plus
