Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer role focused on spacecraft programs in London. Responsibilities include planning and supporting technical activities across spacecraft programs, managing system-level elements (functional models, modes, interfaces, requirements), conducting risk assessments and trade studies, supporting subsystem and software design, leading system assessments and baseline definitions, budgeting, and contributing to configuration-controlled engineering documentation. The position involves product implementation, integration, verification and validation at system and flight levels, and improving company-wide systems engineering processes. Requires space industry experience, 8+ years in spacecraft system engineering, and a degree in Engineering or equivalent, with SC clearance anticipated. Office presence in London with on-site travel (1-2 days per month) and flexible, hybrid work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience in Aerospace, Engineering, Physics, or similar.
- 8+ years in spacecraft system engineering.
- Experience with system requirements, trade studies, and spacecraft design.
- Familiar with spacecraft assembly, integration, testing, and operations.
