Job Summary
Create and update Cameo models for the new AMRAAM MIMIC design, modeling system interfaces using DOORS and system requirements. Direct a small team of systems engineers while monitoring progress, reporting status, and facilitating knowledge transfer across IPTs and CPTs. Support test equipment software integration and verification for system test within the full systems engineering lifecycle. This role leads technical rigor for the Air Dominance Portfolio at the Systems Engineering and Test Center, interfacing with Chief Engineers and customers to ensure systems work the first time.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Secret - Current Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience
- Experience in Systems Engineering
- Experience on Missile Program
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and associated tools including Cameo and DOORS
- Experience with Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
- Existing program access
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics
- Self-starter who can take on task with limited guidance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Customer focus and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with cPDM
- Familiarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures along with DoD customer infrastructure experience
- Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
- Familiarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration management
- Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
- Prior work experience giving technical briefs or presentations
