Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer and Agile Product Owner leading a cross-functional engineering team in McKinney, TX. Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, features, and system-level requirements; lead requirements development, decomposition, traceability, and V&V planning; coordinate across software, systems, hardware, and test engineering; support system integration, troubleshooting, and performance analysis; conduct technical trade studies and contribute to architecture decisions; facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain the product backlog; present technical status and risks to leadership and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in systems and software engineering
- Agile development experience
- experience with system hardware/software integration
- ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- experience with DOORS/DNG, Cameo, Jira, Confluence or similar tools
- proficiency with C++, Python or similar programming languages
- experience with modeling, simulation, or performance analysis
