Job Summary
Senior SAP Functional Analyst to lead configuration and design for core SAP processes across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Production Planning/Execution. Role involves translating business needs into integrated SAP configurations, supporting SAP S/4HANA and cloud SaaS adoption, coordinating with multiple business areas (GPSC, Manufacturing, Logistics, Order Management), participating in testing and deployment, ensuring upgrade-safe solutions, and mentoring junior team members. Hybrid work arrangement in Warren, MI or Austin, TX with on-site presence at least three times per week; may be eligible for relocation benefits. Strong SAP experience across SD, MM, PP, WM/EWM, Ariba, S/4HANA, and integration capabilities; ABAP knowledge is advantageous; certification and industry experience (automotive) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Computing, Information Systems, Supply Chain) or equivalent experience
- Several years of hands-on SAP experience, including configuration of one or more modules (e.g., SD, FI-CO, MM, PP, WM/EWM)
- S/4HANA functional configuration and extensibility
- Strong understanding of SAP principles and cloud/upgrade-safe design
- Experience with SAP integration (IDocs, APIs, middleware) and testing
- Ability to debug SAP systems; ABAP knowledge helpful
- Hybrid work expectation: Warren, MI or Austin, TX with on-site presence multiple days per week
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and master data in SAP domains
- SAP certification is a plus
- Willingness to participate in SAP upgrades/migrations and digital transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of SAP Automotive Suite or similar industry solutions is a plus
