Job Summary
Design, install, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Cisco Nexus switches, routers, wireless access points, and FortiGate firewalls. Manage network security using Cisco ISE and DNA Center, while configuring and testing secure VPN connectivity for external partners and remote locations. Troubleshoot complex routing, hardware, and software issues, prioritizing requests based on business impact. Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and AWS environments via Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and Route 53. Utilize CloudWatch Metrics and VPC Flow Logs to monitor performance and resolve connectivity problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable network operations and identify opportunities for automation. Hybrid schedule Monday–Friday with up to 30% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including switching, routing, wireless, Cisco ISE, and Cisco DNA Center
- Experience administering FortiGate firewalls and VPN technologies
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking concepts within AWS
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
- Travel: Up to 30%
