Job Summary
Senior Systems Analyst will provide technical and project leadership for a suite of application systems supporting Credit Union business processes. The role involves analyzing, designing, configuring, documenting, and supporting systems; serving as a subject matter expert in multiple major systems; coordinating with vendors and QA teams; participating in the development lifecycle from design through change control; and ensuring production stability, onboarding new applications, and cross-training peers. The ideal candidate has strong communication and diplomacy skills, experience with SQL and enterprise applications, familiarity with SDLC/Agile methodologies, and the ability to lead technical and procedural standards while delivering customer-focused service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field OR 6+ years relevant experience
- 5+ years experience in application development and/or system configuration support
- experience designing and analyzing business processes and creating flow models/diagrams
- contributor to project implementations with formal PM/QA/SDLC or Agile methodologies
- proficient knowledge of applications, business operations, and regulatory requirements
- strong SQL knowledge; Microsoft SQL Server preferred; basic XML, Web Services, JavaScript, ASP, .Net
- ability to lead technical and procedural standards for systems design, development, verification, and implementation
- ability to read, analyze, interpret, and apply SDLC requirements
- experience with testing programs and change management in a systems environment
- ability to develop and maintain SQL scripts
- ability to work in a multi-tasking, high-organization environment
- customer-service orientation
- knowledge of data recovery and data management practices
- familiarity with enterprise application architecture best practices
