Job Summary
Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services for Post-Trade derivatives clearing systems throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. Conduct requirement analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing while developing automated testing tools. Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents by collaborating with business users to deliver technology solutions. Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support materials for production releases and system monitoring. Perform occasional day/night shift work and participate in on-call rotations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT application development (SDLC)
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot
- Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented design principles
- Strong proficiency in database technologies on Linux platforms
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber or equivalent technologies/tools
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Ability to interpret complex functional requirements
- Ability to anticipate challenges
- Ability to develop flexible solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders
