Job Summary
Senior Systems Analyst at Payments Canada responsible for bridging business needs and system management for High Value Payment Systems, leading business analysis, requirements gathering, data interpretation for actionable recommendations, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, documenting SDLC processes, QA and testing, on-call support, and supporting operations and incident investigations. The role emphasizes collaboration with external vendors, development and maintenance of system configurations, and contributing to release management and operational excellence in Canada’s national clearing and settlement infrastructure. Occasional travel may be required; ITIL is a plus; strong knowledge of Confluence, Jira, MQ Series, SWIFT, Oracle DBs, Active Directory, and related technologies is expected.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in computer science or related studies.

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Status Clearance and can successfully complete enhanced background checks
