Senior Systems Analyst

Job Summary
Senior Systems Analyst responsible for analyzing, designing and enhancing enterprise information systems to meet business requirements. Tasks include translating business requirements into technical specifications and artefacts, defining physical and logical architectures, creating and finalising functional system specifications, assisting in RFP-related documentation, mapping data interfaces between legacy and new systems, developing deployment models, and providing technical leadership in implementing off-the-shelf and custom solutions. Collaborates with Business Analysts, Project Leads and ICT teams, reviews and integrates architectural and technical requirements, and ensures alignment with quality management standards. Proficiency with modelling tools, BPMN/UML notation, and experience in architecture design patterns and integration is expected, along with governance and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or BTech in computer science or equivalent
- TOGAF certification is desirable
- Minimum six (6) years’ experience in the ICT software development environment
- Minimum six (6) years’ experience in designing enterprise-wide software solutions
- Experience using modelling tools and BPMN/UML notation
- Minimum five years’ experience in object-oriented design patterns
- Minimum five years’ experience in the use of different software development methodologies
- Solid understanding of overall architecture and design patterns
- Adequate experience and knowledge of system and application integration
- Adequate experience and knowledge on development frameworks and patterns
- Ability to perform technical analysis including data, off-the-shelf applications and technical infrastructure
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture tools like Casewise
