Job Summary
Manage electronic data interchange operations by designing, developing, and supporting integrations within a webMethods environment. Monitor and troubleshoot transactions across customers, vendors, 3PL warehouses, and banks while supporting new trading partner onboarding. Perform rigorous testing and validation of EDI transactions to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and reliable production performance. Investigate and resolve transmission errors, failed transactions, and data mismatches. Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, and IT teams to shape EDI solutions, resolve process gaps, and manage continuous improvements. Maintain security policies and ensure systems remain scalable and aligned with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in EDI operations and management
- Strong experience with EDI standards and technologies such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12, AS2, and VAN
- Hands-on development experience with webMethods Integration Server, including EDI mapping and service development in Designer, trading partner configuration, as well as testing and validation of EDI transactions
- Experience integrating EDI with ERP/WMS/TMS (SAP, BY, Oracle, JDA, Infor etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop data-driven recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Onsite in Lake Forest, IL Tuesday -Thursday and remote Monday & Friday

Desired Qualifications
- Functional and Technical knowledge of various EDI and communication standards such as (XML, EDIFACT, API Integrations, but especially X12 and AS2)
- Required EDI integration experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP (S/4HANA or ECC), with additional experience in WMS (SAP LE, EWM) or TMS platforms (e.g., BlueYonder) considered a plus
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified EDI Professional, are a plus
