Senior Systems Analyst (Data Migration)

Job Summary
Senior Systems Analyst to lead end-to-end data migrations across multiple customer projects (discovery → mapping → transformation → validation → go-live); act as the primary technical contact for customers, guiding data strategy and surfacing risks; collaborate with Business Analysts and Professional Services to map data and configure software; perform advanced SQL data analysis; build ETL/ELT processes (SSIS, Talend, Informatica or similar); develop data mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation strategies; identify and resolve data quality issues through profiling and root cause analysis; work with CSV/Excel formats; plan cutover activities and go-live validation; mentor junior team members and contribute to migration process improvements; Requirements include 5+ years in data migration/warehousing/ETL roles, strong customer-facing communication, data dictionaries and mapping expertise, Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, and exposure to AI or similar tools is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data migration, warehousing, systems analysis, or ETL-focused roles
- Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, joins, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (SSIS preferred)
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Use and understanding of data dictionaries, source to target mapping, and relational database concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Exposure to AI for data analysis, validation, or development a plus
- Databricks, Snowflake or similar a plus
